2025 Volleyball Promotional Schedule Announced

Home opener for CMU Volleyball set for October 3rd against Toledo in McGuirk Arena.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The promotional schedule for the 2025 Central Michigan Volleyball season has been released.
For every set won by the Chippewas in McGuirk Arena this fall, there will be a mini CMU Volleyball toss to the fans in the stands to celebrate the victory.
A complete list of themed home games follows with the offerings and events at the matches. All offerings are subject to change.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS GAME – vs. Toledo (Oct. 3, 6 p.m.)
The first home match of the season for the Chippewas will host a mental health awareness themed night with give aways for the fans in attendance.
Fans can get free green CMU stress brains, mental health awareness stickers and 20 oz "Chippewas Volleyball" frosted stadium cups.
September 29th – October 3rd is the Mid-American Conference Mental Health Week where Central Michigan Soccer will be hosting their own mental health awareness game. The soccer game is October 2nd against NIU at 7 p.m..
YOUTH DAY/CAMPER REUNION – vs. Bowling Green (Oct. 4, 4 p.m.)
CMU Volleyball aims to welcome in the youth of the mid-Michigan community and also bring back the campers from the summer of 2025 for a reunion with their new friends made through the game.
On October 3rd, Taylor Swift releases her newest album, and fans in attendance can celebrate when they receive their "In my CMU Volleyball Era" bracelet as a play on the Taylor Swift craze. CMU Volleyball stickers will also be a giveaway for fans in attendance.
There will be a kids' raffle for young fans to enter where a lucky winner will win the chance to announce "point central" over the speakers in match and to join the team on the court for introductions.
GOLD OUT – Eastern Michigan (Oct. 7, 6 p.m.)
Show up to McGuirk Arena, wear your gold and BE LOUD! Join the team in McGuirk Arena, grab your free gold pompoms and gold "point central" cards as the Chippewas take on the Eagles.
BLOCK PARTY – Akron (Oct. 17, 6 p.m.)
Central Michigan Volleyball will host their annual block party in McGuirk as they take on the Zips. There will be maroon & gold pompoms as giveaways in the atrium, along with free pizza and t-shirts for CMU students while supplies lasts. The student raffle winner will also be announced at the game.
DIG PINK/BREAST CANCER AWARENESS – Akron (Oct. 18, 4 p.m.)
The Chippewas will close out the series with Akron hosting their annual dig pink game. Fans can get their free pink pompoms, glow LED foam lights, breast cancer awareness stickers and "dig pink" cards.
VOLLEYWEEN – Ohio (Oct. 31, 6 p.m.)
Come celebrate the end of spooky season with the team in McGuirk Arena. Fans can come get Halloween candy and various Halloween items at fan central. There will be stations for kids to decorate various Halloween themed items.
HOMETOWN HEROS – Ohio (Nov. 1, 4 p.m.)
Celebrating the heroes in the mid-Michigan community on hometown hero's night against the Bobcats. Discounted tickets are available for active-duty service members, veterans and first responders.
MAROON OUT – Miami (OH) (Nov. 7, 6 p.m.)
Get dressed in all of your maroon swag and get your free "Fire Up Chips!" rally towel when you come support the team as they take on the RedHawks. Fans can also participate in the MAC Rivalry Canned Food Drive by brining non-perishable items with them to the game.
SENIOR CELEBRATION/ALUMNI NIGHT – Miami (OH) (Nov. 8, 4 p.m.)
The final home game of the 2025 season for the Chippewas will entail a celebration for the six Central Michigan Volleyball seniors while also remembering the history of the program, celebrating the alumni.
