The 15th edition of Hoops for Hunger marks the first repeat opponent in the series
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Women's Basketball hosts the 15th Hoops For Hunger contest Jan. 7 against Kent State (11 a.m. ET). The Chippewas will return to McGuirk Arena Jan. 17 to host Eastern Michigan (1 p.m. ET) after the program's first in-conference visit to Massachusetts Sunday (Jan. 10, 1 p.m. ET).

HOOPS FOR HUNGER – Kent State (Jan. 7)
Community schools will make the field trip for the 15th edition of Hoops for Hunger. A kids-themed pre-game playlist and halftime games are on the docket. The contest will also recognize the winning school of the canned food drive in support of the Isabella Community Food Bank.
