National Field Hockey Coaches Association Names Five Chippewas to 2025 Scholars of Distinction

COLORADO SPRINGS, Col. – Five members of Central Michigan Field Hockey have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Scholars of Distinction for the 2025 season Friday morning.
To qualify as a Scholar of Distinction, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.90 cumulative GPA through the end of the fall semester.

Shannon Dwyer, Senior, Neuroscience: Cell & Molecular, 3.97 (Fourth Year)
Amelia Lane, Senior, General Business Administration, 3.91
