2026 Lacrosse Promotional Schedule Announced

Senior Day in season finale (April 25)
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan Lacrosse promotional schedule was announced [day], with themes for each of the four home games of the 2026 schedule.

All four games will feature a free t-shirt toss at the end of the first quarter while all weekend contests (March 14, March 28, April 25) will all feature a weekend kids' zone that includes a coloring station, yard games and sidewalk chalk.

All promotions and giveaways are subject to change and will be available while supplies last.

LaCROSSe OUT CANCER – Robert Morris (March 14)
The Chippewas play for childhood cancer awareness to open the Mid-American Conference slate. To learn more, visit the LaCROSSe Out Cancer website. Fans in attendance will receive gold pompoms and childhood cancer awareness ribbon stickers.

MORGAN'S MESSAGE – Detroit Mercy (March 28)
An annual event on the CMU Lacrosse schedule, the Chippewas host Detroit Mercy under the Morgan's Message banner. Morgan's Message aims to raise awareness of mental health struggles in youth and student-athletes, in the memory of Morgan Rodgers, former women's lacrosse player at Duke. Morgan's Message stickers, along with information on the cause, will be offered at the game.

PLAY FOR PATRICK – Southern California (April 6)
Another annual staple for Chippewa Lacrosse, Central Michigan will battle the Trojans in support of the Patrick Schoonover Heart Foundation. Founded by the family of CMU alumna Anna Schoonover '19, Play For Patrick aims to raise awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in young athletes. Information on the foundation will be offered, along with Play For Patrick wristbands.

SENIOR DAY – Akron (April 25)
Fans will be given pompoms so they can help recognize three CMU Lacrosse seniors ahead of its battle with the Zips. The Chippewa seniors—Kelsey Barratt, Victoria Chesson and Leila Kahler—will be recognized on the field prior to introductions.
