Langan Named MAC Pitcher of the Week

Mackenzie Langan earned Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.

CLEVELAND – For the second time in her career, Mackenzie Langan was named MAC Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Mackenzie Langan threw two complete games in four appearances, both against conference rival, Western Michigan.

Throughout the week, Langan threw 19.1 innings collecting 18 strikeouts. The righty held opponents to a .208 batting average and ended the stretch with just a 1.45 ERA.

This season, Langan leads the conference with 56 strikeouts against conference opponents and 19 of those have been looking. In the entire 2026 campaign thus far, Langan has totaled 90 strikeouts, second most in the conference, 26 of which are backwards K's.

In her 21 appearances, the senior has held opponents to a .279 average and boasts a 3.18 ERA this season.
