2022: Standout second baseman was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the eighth round (251st overall pick) in the Major League Baseball Draft … leadoff hitter hit .376 with seven home runs and 51 RBI … named to All-MAC First Team for second consecutive season … posted a .498 on-base percentage, which ranked 16th in the nation … drew 54 walks which ranked 13th nationally … led the MAC in runs (74), hits (86), and sacrifice flies (7), was second in batting average and on-base percentage, was fifth in doubles (20), and seventh in OPS (1.061) … shared league lead in walks with teammate Justin Simpson and shared league lead in sac flies with teammate Danny Wuestenfeld … finished his CMU career with 115 walks to rank sixth all time, a remarkable accomplishment for a player who spent just two years in the program.
2021: Transfer from Oakland earned First Team All-MAC honors as second baseman … ranked second on the team with a .330 batting average … led the nation with 61 walks on the year … led the MAC in on-base percentage (.502) and runs (61), ranking 15th and 22nd, respectively, nationally in those categories … led CMU and tied for third in the MAC with 15 doubles … made four errors on 171 chances for a .977 fielding percentage … went 6-of-13 at the dish with a home run and two RBI during the 2021 NCAA Regional … closed the regular season on a season-long eight-game hitting streak … collected two hits in each of the first seven games during the streak … hit .535 (15 for 28) with 11 runs and six RBI during the streak … has 21 multi-hit games … collected a season-high four hits at Dayton (3/21) and at Northern Illinois (4/4).
