Robert Greenman joined coach Steve Jaksa’s staff as an undergraduate assistant coach in 2017.
A native of Shelbyville, Greenman was a four-year letterwinning catcher for the Chippewas from 2014-17. As a senior, he earned First Team All-Mid-American Conference honors and shared the team’s Most Improved Player Award with first baseman Evan Kratt, helping to lead CMU to the MAC West title and a runner-up finish in the overall league standings.
Greenman ranked second on the team in 2017 with nine home runs and a .476 slugging percentage, and was third on the squad with 40 RBI.
In his capacity on the CMU staff, Greenman works primarily with the catchers.
