“Why CMU?”: “From the moment I set foot on Central Michigan’s campus, it felt like home. The university offered everything I was looking for: the size, majors, atmosphere of sports, and the sport that I wanted to continue at the collegiate level. Central Michigan was the perfect fit; I knew that I would be supported and given every opportunity to be successful.”
Story Time: “My freshmen year of high school, my high school team got pretty good. Going into the playoffs we were very confident and determined to beat one of our rivals after losing to them 13-12 in the regular season. With courage and determination, and all of us working together, we were able to beat our rival, and we became Sectional Champions for the first time in Marist Girls Lacrosse history. The overall feeling I had in that game would not compare to any other high school lacrosse game I played in. It was such a rewarding feeling after all of the hard work we all put in and we all grew so much closer to each other and created amazing life-long friendships with each other.”
