Avery Wagnon began her coaching career with Central Michigan Lacrosse in December 2024 after spending the previous four years in the program as a defender.
During her time as a player, the Chippewas earned four Mid-American Conference championships (two regular-season, two tournament) and made two appearances in the NCAA tournament. The Humble, Texas-native graduated seventh in program history in caused turnovers, 10th in ground balls and 12th in draw controls. She appeared in 56 games across her four-year career.
