Why CMU?: “I chose CMU because of the positive atmosphere I felt the second I stepped on campus. Being welcomed with open arms not only from my coaches and teammates, but also from other coaches, athletes, and people at CMU was something so special. My recruiting visits made me feel like I was where I was supposed to be. Our individual team culture and the culture athletics has as a whole, is what sets us apart from other schools. Going to school so far from home was always something I was worried would bother me, but having a family at CMU has made the distance seem so much shorter.”
