Montanna Windham was named an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Central Michigan in July 2024. She works primarily with the Chippewas' lacrosse team.
Windham joined the Central Michigan Athletic Training team after spending one year (2023-24) at the University of Montana in Missoula, where she provided coverage for the women's volleyball, men's lacrosse teams, women's club rugby, and university cheer/dance teams. She also served as the primary health care provider for the Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association.
Windham earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Michigan Tech University in August 2020. She went on to earn a Master's degree in athletic training from the University of Michigan in April 2023.
As an athletic training graduate student at Michigan from 2021-23, she worked with the women's lacrosse, aquatics, and men's ice hockey teams. She also spent five months at Western Michigan, where worked with the football team.
A native of Suttons Bay, Windham is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association, and Michigan Athletic Trainers Society.
