Why CMU?: “I chose Central Michigan University because, during my high school track career, I had the opportunity to compete in several indoor meets on campus. Through those experiences, I fell in love with the campus and the welcoming environment it offered. I made many great memories here during high school, and that inspired me to create even more as a college student. Another major reason I chose CMU is the cross country training plan my coach has provided; I'm really enjoying it so far. I also really appreciate my coach's belief in my abilities; her support and the opportunity to train and compete with the CMU women’s cross country team means a lot to me. Additionally, I’ve heard so many positive things from CMU alumni about the strong academics and supportive community here. Because of all these reasons, I’m truly looking forward to my college experience at CMU.”
