Personal: Daughter of Linda and Rusty Laurenz … has two older sisters, Claire and Ellen, and younger brother, Cramer … aspires to create content in the outdoor recreation and hospitality industry … is the cousin of Dan Abraham, Disney artist and animator credited on Space Jam and Encanto … Fun facts: “I’ve been to 39 U.S. states and 11 countries, I have an eight-inch scar on my forearm that looks like a mountain and my feet are half a size different!”
Why CMU?: “CMU has always been so supportive of my career path and decisions. I biked across the country in 2021 and received college credit for it! In 2022, I embarked on a seven-week study abroad trip to Italy on a scholarship that paid for my trip. In Summer 2023, I traveled to Colorado for a recreation internship. Despite being thousands of miles away, CMU has supported me on campus and off. As a track and field athlete I am very thankful to be able to practice in the summertime while also fulfilling my dream of seeing the world.”
