Personal: Daughter of Stacy and Mike Nielsen … has an older brother Alex and younger sister, Addy … intends to become a physical therapist … Fun fact: “I am so superstitious. Before every meet I eat eggs, bacon and strawberries for breakfast! When getting ready for the meet I always wear the same necklace, earrings, hair tie and socks- these are just some of the things that are the same on meet day!”
Why CMU?: “I chose CMU for many reasons! When I took my first visit to CMU it immediately felt like home. Although it is four and a half hours away from my family, the atmosphere of the campus and the track and field program did not make it feel far away. CMU truly gives me the ‘home away from home’ feel, and everyone here is so extremely supportive and loving! This truly made me feel welcomed and excited to attend CMU!”
