Hannah Fisher is in her third year as an assistant coach under Catherine Ostoich with the Central Michigan field hockey program.
After the cancellation of the 2020 fall season due to COVID-19, the Chippewas won five games, the most since the 2014 season, while playing an abbreviated schedule in the spring of 2021. Midfielder Alice O’Hagan also became the first Chippewa to earn First Team All-MAC honors since 2014 after leading CMU in goals, assists and points.
Academically, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association recognized four Chippewas as a Scholar of Distinction and named 17 Chippewas to its National Academic Squad. CMU received the NFHCA National Academic Team Award for the third consecutive season, and 10 student-athletes earned Academic All-MAC honors.
Fisher earned four letters at Davidson from 2014-17, serving as a team captain. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in anthropology from Davidson in May 2018.
