Football Kickoff Times Set

MOUNT PLEASANT-- Kickoff times for all but one of Central Michigan University's football games have been set.
The five-game home schedule begins on Sept. 9 with a Mid-American Conference (MAC) clash against Akron at 1 p.m. First-year coach Mike DeBord's Chippewas then face a non-conference foe in Boise State on Sept. 23 at 1 p.m.
MAC action resumes on Oct. 7 against Kent State at 1 p.m., and versus Ball State on Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. Central Michigan closes the home season against intrastate rival Western Michigan on Nov. 11. Game time for the WMU game will be announced at a later date.
The Chippewas face road dates at Purdue (Sept. 2), at Wyoming (Sept. 16), at Toledo (Sept. 30), at Ohio (Oct. 21), at Eastern Michigan (Nov. 4) and at Northern Illinois (Nov. 18).
All CMU home games are played in Kelly/Shorts Stadium (30,199). Tickets can be purchased at the CMU Athletics Tickets Office, by calling 1-888-FIRE UP 2 or on CMU's website www.cmuchippewas.com.
