CMU head coach Mike DeBord
"I said going into this game that Boise State would be the best team, top to bottom, that we'd face this year. It's a great program and it deserves all the credit."
"I don't put days, months or years on our progress. It's a daily job to get to a winning level. Are we as bad as we appeared today? No. The kids came out and played a better second half and that really impressed me. If we keep working hard like that the winning will come."
(on the starting QBs) "Pete Shepherd was the starter this game but I'm not sold on naming one starter. Attitude and how they practice will dictate if they start the next week. You have to have a positive attitude and a hard work ethic if you want to start the next game, I don't care who you are."
"Good teams put bad games behind them, just like Boise State did with the Arkansas loss last week. We have the same situation. We have to put this loss behind us and move on. That's football. We can't hang our heads. We are going to fight through this."
BSU coach Dirk Koetter
"I'm ecstatic over a 47-10 win but when we watch the tape I'm sure we'll find things to improve on."
(on slow start) "We are a slow starting team. When you don't have a lot of film on a team it takes a couple of series to get adjusted."
"The key play that turned the game around was when Zach Weber stripped the ball on the third series and we recovered."
"CMU reminds me of where we were a few years ago. It is doing things with a new staff like we did. It's not easy to build a program but it is doing good things."
