ROCHESTER--The Central Michigan University volleyball team posted a three-game sweep over Oakland University on Tuesday night at the Athletic Center `O'rena.
The Chippewas won by game scores of 15-4, 15-6 and 15-9 to raise their overall record to 6-7 on the season.
Leading the CMU offensive attack was Jenny Young (Plymouth/So.) who had a match-high 16 kills. Mollie Hunter (Trenton/Fr.) had 11 kills and three block assists while Leslie Schroeder (McComb, OH) and Kristin Tack (Saginaw/Jr.) each had five kills.
Setter Jessica Rocho (Honolulu, HI) had 38 assists and seven digs.
The Chippewas hit the road this weekend for a pair of Mid-American Conference matches. Central takes on Miami on Friday and Ball State on Saturday.
