Football To Start Chippewa Walk

MOUNT PLEASANT--Fans are encouraged to join the Central Michigan University football team, the Marching Chippewas and cheerleaders for the Chippewa Walk, a new tradition for every home game, beginning this Saturday.
The Chippewa Walk will take place as the football team leaves the Comfort Inn and heads over to Kelly/Shorts Stadium for the home opener against Akron. Leading the walk that starts at 11 a.m., at the lobby of the Comfort Inn will be the Marching Chippewas and cheerleaders. Fans are also invited to take part in the Chippewa Walk.
A tailgate tent is scheduled to be in front of the Comfort Inn with food and drinks available. For more information contatct the Comfort Inn at (517) 772-4000.
