St. Louis, Mo. - The Central Michigan University field hockey team (5-2 overall) won its second straight game, defeating Saint Louis University on Sunday afternoon, 4-1.
Michelle Fogle gave the Chippewas a 1-0 lead in the first half with her first career goal.
With the score notched at one, the Chippewas offense opened up , scoring three goals in the final ten minutes and putting the game out of reach. Jocelyn Gates slid two past the Billiken golatender and Katie Coccia added the other.
The Chippewas return to action Friday, September 20, when they take on Northeastern in Ann Arbor at 1 p.m.
