Softball Hosts Fall Games This Weekend

MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Central Michigan University softball team continues its fall season this weekend with home dates on Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29.

The two-time defending Mid-American Conference champions host Saginaw Valley, Macomb Community College and Northwood on Saturday and Ferris State, Grand Valley and Wayne State on Sunday.

Following is a schedule of events.

CMU Tournament

Saturday, September 28, 2002
CMU vs. SVSU, 10 a.m.
Macomb CC vs. Northwood, noon
Loser game 1 vs. loser game 2, 2 p.m.
Winner game 1 vs. winner game 2, 4 p.m.

Sunday, September 29, 2002
CMU vs. Ferris State, 10 a.m.
Wayne State vs. Grand Valley, noon
Loser game 1 vs. loser game 2, 2 p.m.
Winner game 1 vs. winner game 2, 4 p.m.
