MOUNT PLEASANT -- The polls have been closed and the votes have been tallied.
No, not in the California Governor recall election, but for the Central Michigan University Softball Silver Anniversary Team.
The team will be announced on Saturday as Chippewa softball hosts a Silver Anniversary Reunion Weekend.
Following is a complete schedule:
Friday, October 10
4 p.m.--Golf Outing (Riverwood)
7:30 p.m.--Welcome Reception (Riverwood Banquet Room)
Saturday, October 11
10:30 a.m.--Pregame tailgate tent at football game; Silver Anniversary Team announced
1 p.m.--CMU football game vs. Northern Illinois
Sunday, October 12
noon--CMU Alumnae game (CMU Softball Complex); At-Bat Club Reception following the game
