MOUNT PLEASANT -- Three Central Michigan University football players, Kyle Croskey, Cullen Jenkins and Darvin Lewis, were signed as free agents following the two-day National Football League draft.
Croskey, a 6-3, 330-pound offensive lineman, was inked by the New England Patriots while Jenkins, a 6-2, 300-pound defensive lineman, signed with the Green Bay Packers and Darvin Lewis, a 6-3, 235-pound linebacker, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
"We're excited that those three have the opportunity to try and play professional football," said CMU head coach Mike DeBord. "Everyone connected with this program will be eagerly watching their progress."
