Weather Delays Friday's Play at the MAC Softball Tournament

AKRON -- Weather conditions have delayed Friday's action at the Mid-American Conference Softball tournament at Firestone Stadium.
Tournament officials are hoping to start the day's first game between No. 4 Northern Illinois and No. 6 Miami at 3 p.m.
No. 3 Central Michigan will then meet No. 5 Bowling Green at approximately 5 p.m.
Should the Chippewas win that game they will play later tonight against the NIU/Miami winner.
CMU fans can listen to the games live on the radio in Mount Pleasant or worldwide on the Internet at cmuchippewas.com.
Friday's 5 p.m., game will air on WMMI-AM 830. If CMU advances, tonight's game would be on WCZY-FM 104.3.
Rain is forecasted for most of the weekend in Akron. Tournament updates will be posted on cmuchippewas.com as they are available.
