Webber Signs With USBL Team

ENID, Okla. -- Former Central Michigan University standout David Webber is now playing with the Oklahoma Storm of the United States Basketball League (USBL).
He joins former Chippewa teammate Tim Kisner who has started at point guard for the Storm all season.
Webber was named the 2001 Mid-American Conference "Player of the Year" after leading the league in scoring with 18.4 points per game. He was a first team All-MAC selection in 2001 and an honorable mention pick in 2000 and '02. The Farmington Hills native ranks third on CMU's career scoring chart with 1,774 career points.
The Storm wrap up regular season play this weekend before heading into the playoffs.
