Kara Reighard Garners MAC Honor

Central Michigan University senior Kara Reighard was named Mid-American Conference "Gymnast of the Week" for his outstanding performance in the Chippewas' 194.050-191.850 win over Utah State on Sunday.
Reighard won the all-around with a score of 39.250. She took first on the floor (9.900) and beam (9.850), grabbed a second on bars (9.750) and was fifth on the vault (9.750).
Among the nominees for MAC "Specialist of the Week" was CMU sophomore Sheena Smith who won the vault with a 9.850 against USU.
The Chippewas return to action at home on Sunday, Jan. 23, with a MAC meet against Bowling Green at 2 p.m.
