MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University head football coach Brian Kelly is a weekly voter in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Each week, a sampling of his top 25 will be posted here at www.cmuchippewas.com. Notes on the poll and the national scene will accompany the rankings.

No Change at the Top: With only half of the top 10 in action over the weekend (Texas, LSU, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Miami), and all five recording wins, Kelly's top 10 and the national top 10 look identical to last week.
Championship Weekend: Three teams in the top five will put their seasons on the line in conference championship games this weekend. The team with the most to lose is undefeated, No. 2 Texas (11-0), which faces Colorado in the Big 12 title game on Saturday. No. 3 LSU (10-1) will square off with No. 13 Georgia (9-2) in the SEC Championship Game, while No. 5 Virginia Tech (10-1) meets unranked Florida State (7-4) in the inaugural ACC Championship Game.
See You in Pasadena: USC and Texas will meet for the national title in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 4, provided the Longhorns defeat Colorado in the Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday. USC is 4-0 all-time against Texas, with the last meeting coming during the 1967 season. The programs have never squared off in a bowl game.
