MOUNT PLEASANT Central Michigan University softball coach Margo Jonker announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent.
Joining the Chippewas next season will be middle infielder Molly Coldren (West Bloomfield, Mich./Notre Dame HS), catcher/outfielder Brogan Darwin (Chelsea, Mich./Chelsea HS) and pitcher Sarah Patterson (Lansing, Mich./Okemos HS).
“This class will bring power potential to the plate, as well as the circle,” Jonker said. “All three student-athletes played top level summer and high school ball. They will come into the program knowing they can compete with anyone because they have already been successful at a high level. All three have powerful bats.
