Podoll Retirement Reception May 14

MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Central Michigan University Athletics Department will celebrate Pat Podoll's 35 years of service to CMU with a retirement reception on Monday, May 14.
The event begins at 3:30 p.m. in the NIRSA Room at the Student Activity Center.
Podoll has been an assistant athletics director in charge of academics for the past 16 years. CMU has earned the Mid-American Conference's Academic Achivement Award for highest cumulative grade point average nine of the last 10 years under Podoll's guidance.
She began teaching in the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics Department in 1971. After 11 years in that capacity, she spent five as an assistant director of financial aid and three years as director of student employment.
