CMU at Purdue

CMU’s captains for the Purdue game were Ike Brown, Steven Friend, Andrew Hartline and Dan LeFevour.
Dan LeFevour streak of pass attempts without an interception ended at 154. He was intercepted late in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game.
CMU is now 2-17 all-time against the Big Ten, including 0-3 against Purdue.
A total of 50 players saw action for CMU against Purdue. Of those 50, 29 were either true freshmen, redshirt freshmen or sophomores; 12 were either true or redshirt freshmen.
Justin Gardner played in his first game in 2007 after missing the first two games of the season with an injury. He caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Justin Hoskins scored his first collegiate touchdown on a 15-yard screen pass from Dan LeFevour. He also scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Dan LeFevour has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 10 consecutive games. He has thrown multiple touchdowns in a game nine times in his career.
Chaz West’s interception in the third quarter was the first of his career. His fumble recovery in the fourth quarter was also the first of his career.
Antonio Brown’s 31-yard catch in the third quarter was the longest of his career. He finished with nine receptions for 96 yards.
Tony Mikulec ran eight yards for a first down on a fake punt in the fourth quarter. It is the third time in his career he has rushed for a first down on either a fake punt for fake field goal.
Dan LeFevour established new career highs for attempts (56), completions (35) and passing yards (364). He threw for at least 300 yards for the third time in his career.
Joe Bockheim made his first career reception in the fourth quarter. He added a reception on a two-point conversion later in the same drive.
Bryan Anderson caught a career-high 10 passes for 101 yards. It is the fourth time in his career he has recorded at least 100 receiving yards in a game.
Red Keith tied for game-high honors with 11 tackles, including 10 solo stops. He has now made at least 10 tackles in a game 16 times in his career.
Kirkston Edwards made a career-high nine tackles, including eight solo, against Purdue.
CMU is 1-2 through three games for the fourth straight season.
Dan LeFevour now ranks seventh all-time at CMU in passing yards (3,811), eighth in attempts (513), sixth in completions (323) and seventh in total offense (4,435).
Ontario Sneed moved to sixth on CMU’s career receptions list (115), while Red Keith moved to sixth on the career tackles list (357).
