CMU’s captains on Saturday were Red Keith, Tony Mikulec and Eric Tunney.
Dan LeFevour’s 41-yard carry on CMU’s opening possession matched the longest run of his career.
Dan LeFevour has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 11 consecutive games.
CMU lost at home for the first time in its last six contests at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Its last home loss was the 2006 season opener against Boston College (31-24).
Justin Hoskins scored his third touchdown in the last two games on a five-yard run in the second quarter.
Antonio Brown had nine receptions for the third time in four games this season. He now has 31 receptions on the season, tops on the team and third in the Mid-American Conference.
Freshman Nick Bellore led CMU in tackles with a career-high 16 stops against NDSU.
Red Keith made 14 tackles versus NDSU. It was his 17th career game with 10 or more tackles.
Quarterback Dan LeFevour completed 25-of-40 passes, raising his career completions total to 348 and moving into fifth place on the career completions list.
Sophomore wide receiver Bryan Anderson had seven catches against NDSU, giving him an even 100 receptions in his career. He becomes only the ninth player ever to reach the century mark in catches, and settles into the ninth spot on the career receptions list, one behind eighth-place Ken Ealy.
NDSU kicker Shawn Bibeau tied a career high with three field goals made in the game.
NDSU running back Tyler Roehl rushed for 143 yards and three scores on Saturday. He has totaled 461 rushing yards and six touchdowns through three games this season.
