Gymnastics Picked to Finish Third in MAC Coaches Poll

MOUNT PLEASANT The Central Michigan University gymnastics team has been selected to finish third in the Mid-American Conference preseason coaches poll which was released today.
Kent State was chosen by the coaches to win the regular season title while Eastern Michigan was picked to finish second. The Eagles were also picked to win the tournament championship. Projected to finish fourth was Northern Illinois, followed by Bowling Green, Western Michigan and Ball State.
The Chippewas are the reigning regular season champion while EMU won the tournament last year. This year’s MAC Championships are set for Saturday, March 29, and will be hosted by Kent State.
