State Farm Scholar Athlete of the Week - Lauren Krupsky

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Volleyball outside hitter Lauren Krupsky is this week's State Farm Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Krupsky earned Mid-American Conference All-Tournament honors after helping the Chippewas to the MAC Tournament semifinals for the first time since 1996, finishing with the fourth-best kill average (4.42) and ninth-best hitting percentage (.314) among tournament participants.
The 2009 first-team All-MAC member's kill average was ranked second among players who advanced past the opening round and her hitting percentage was ranked fifth-best. She also finished with the second-most points in the tournament (56.5).
The biology major maintains a 3.67 grade-point average.
Each week, one student-athlete is selected as the State Farm Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
