LeFevour Tied for NCAA Total Touchdowns Record
Dan LeFevour is tied with Graham Harrell (Texas Tech) and Colt Brennan (Hawaii) for the most total touchdowns of any player
in Bowl Subdivision history with 146. LeFevour has passed for 99 touchdowns, rushed for 46 and caught a touchdown pass
during his career. Among active players, Florida’s Tim Tebow has the second most career total touchdowns
with 140 (84 passing, 56 rushing).

Anderson Riding NCAA Record 52-Game Receiving Streak
Bryan Anderson has caught at least one pass in each of the 52 games he has played during his career, an NCAA record across all divisions.
He broke the previous record of 51 straight games with a catch last week against Northern Illinois.
CMU, Ohio Meet in Rematch of 2006 Title Game
Friday’s game is a rematch of the 2006 MAC Championship Game won by the Chippewas, 31-10. Damien Linson was named the game’s MVP
after catching seven passes for a championship game record 191 yards, including a 71-yard
touchdown catch in the second quarter that put
CMU in front for good. Ontario Sneed scored on a 96-yard run in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
CMU One of 13 10-Win Teams
• CMU has reached 10 wins for just the fifth time in program history. The 2009 season marks the third time CMU has won 10 games during the regular season.
• CMU is one of just 13 teams nationally to win at least 10 games this season.
CMU Earns Votes in National Polls
CMU received the 28th most points (40 total points) in this week’s USA Today coaches poll and the 31st most points (14 total points) in the Associated Press poll. CMU has earned votes in at least one of the major national polls each of the last nine weeks.
CMU Wins Cartwright Award for Program Excellence
Central Michigan University won the MAC’s inaugural Cartwright Award, given to the program that most comprehensively exemplifies success academically, athletically and in the community. The Chippewas were named the league’s top overall program for the 2008-09 season.
CMU vs. the State of Ohio
CMU has won 17 consecutive contests against MAC opponents from the state of Ohio. The last MAC member from Ohio to defeat the Chippewas was Toledo (27-22) on Oct. 23, 2004.
CMU vs. the MAC East Division
CMU has won 17 straight games against opponents from the MAC East Division, including victories in the 2006 and 2007 MAC Championship Games. Since the MAC expanded to two divisions in 1997, the Chippewas are 24-14 in games against East.
