Krygier Selected MAC Specialist of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT For the second time this season, Central Michigan University gymnast Kyla Krygier has been named the Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week.
Krygier tallied a pair of career highs last weekend to lead CMU to its highest score of the season as the Chippewas scored a 195.675. CMU took second at the Eagle Invite, defeating No. 25 Kent State and EMU while falling to No. 13 Missouri by .025. Krygier tied for first on bars with a career-best 9.900 and also matched a career high on beam with a 9.800, finishing fourth overall.
The Chippewas wrap up the regular season this Saturday, March 14, when they host Eastern Michigan. The meet is set to start at 7 p.m. and CMU will honor its seniors after the event.
