CMU Receives Votes in Associated Press Preseason Poll

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan is listed among the "Others Receiving Votes" in the Associated Press preseason top 25 poll.
The Chippewas received seven points in the balloting and were the only Mid-American Conference team to receive a vote in the poll.
CMU also was received votes in the USA Today preseason coaches poll released earlier this month. Both preseason polls can be found here.
The Chippewas spent four weeks in the "Others Receiving Votes" section of the Associated Press poll during the 2008 season.
