GMAC Bowl -- Jan. 6, 2010
No. 25 Central Michigan played its first football game as a member of the top-25.
CMU is now 2-4 all-time in Division I bowl games and improved to 7-2 in games away from Kelly/Shorts Stadium in the 2009 season.
CMU is now 3-3 all-time against the current members of the Sun Belt Conference, including a 2-1 mark against the SBC in bowl games.

Antonio Brown extended to 41 his streak of consecutive games played with a reception.
With the win, CMU is now one of just seven teams to win at least 12 games this season. It's the second time in program history the Chippewas have won at least 11 games in a season. The 1974 Division II championship team finished 12-1.
The victory over Troy also gives the current senior class 38 wins, tying the group for the most by a CMU group of seniors with the graduating class of 1980.
CMU's 38 victories over the past four seasons are the most of any MAC program during that time.
CMU's win over Troy snapped a three-game losing streak for the Mid-American Conference in the GMAC Bowl. The MAC is now 6-3 all-time in the GMAC Bowl.
Andrew Aguila's three first-half field goals matched his career high for a game. He finished with a school-record five field goals in six attempts.
CMU trailed 10-9 at halftime, failing to score a touchdown in a half for just the fourth time all season. The Chippewas were held out of the end zone during the first half of the season opener at Arizona, the first half against Boston College, the second half of the MAC Championship Game against Ohio and today's first half. The Chippewas entered today having outscored opponents 270-111 in the first half (+159).
Troy's touchdown on its second possession marked the first time the Chippewas trailed in a game since Toledo held a 14-7 second-quarter lead at Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Nov. 11.
The 2010 GMAC Bowl is the 10th game in CMU history to go to overtime and the first bowl game to do so. All nine previous occurrences came against Mid-American Conference opponents. The Chippewas are now 6-4 all-time in overtime games and have won their last three. The GMAC Bowl marked just the second time CMU has played multiple overtimes in a game.

The 95-yard return is the longest for a touchdown in Brown's career. It was CMU's first kickoff return for a touchdown since Brown's 90-yard return for a score against Northern Illinois on Sept. 29, 2007. The 95-yard return is the longest play in CMU's bowl history.

Nick Bellore's 14 total tackles tied the mark for most tackles by a Chippewa in a bowl game with Rich Curtiss' 14 in the 1990 Raisin Bowl and Bobby Seay's 14 in the 2008 Motor City Bowl.
Vince Agnew blocked a field goal in overtime, his second of the season. He also blocked a field goal against Akron on Sept. 26.

Vince Agnew, who came up with a key pass break up in the fourth quarter and the blocked field goal in overtime, wore no. 37 in the second half because his typical jersey, no. 22, was ripped earlier in the game.
The fourth-quarter comeback engineered by the Chippewas and Dan LeFevour was the eighth time in LeFevour's career that he guided CMU to victory in a game that the Chippewas trailed or were tied in the fourth quarter. He finishes his CMU career 36-15 as a starter.
