MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan closes out the 2010 season on Friday at Mid-American Conference West Division rival Toledo.
Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3.com.
The Chippewas (3-8 overall, 2-5 MAC) are seeking their sixth straight win over the Rockets and third straight win at the Glass Bowl. CMU's current five-game winning streak is its longest in the series.
Toledo (7-4 overall, 6-1 MAC) has won four of its last five games, including a 33-14 win over rival Bowling Green last Wednesday. The Rockets have secured their first winning season since 2005.
Redshirt freshman Terrance Owens will make his third consecutive start at quarterback for Toledo in place of the injured Austin Dantin. Owens was 16-for-25 for 225 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Bowling Green.
At Owens' disposal is one of the top offensive threats in the Mid-American Conference in sophomore Eric Page. Page ranks second in the MAC in receptions (82) and fourth receiving yards (954) and has caught six touchdown passes. He also has one kickoff return for a score. Page leads the MAC in all-purpose yardage, averagin 141.9 yards per game.
Defensively, Toledo features two of the MAC's leading tacklers in senior linebacker Archie Donald and sophomore linebacker Dan Molls. Donald ranks eighth nationally, averaging 11.0 tackles per game, while Molls is 12th at 10.8 tackles per game.
CMU, meanwhile, will be looking to send off with a victory a 13-member senior class that has been among the most successful in school history. This year's seniors have won a total of 31 games, been a part of two MAC championships and appeared in three bowl games over the past four seasons. The group was a perfect 4-0 against rival Western Michigan.
Each of the Chippewas' last three games has been decided by four points or less, while six of CMU's 11 games this season have been decided by seven points or less.
CMU has rallied late in both of its last two outings, a 26-22 win over Western Michigan on Nov. 5 and a 38-37 loss at Navy on Nov. 13, scoring 13 fourth-quarter points in both contests. In the last two fourth quarters combined, sophomore quarterback Ryan Radcliff has completed 15-of-22 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns, including 3-for-3 for 47 yards and a score on fourth down.
The Chippewas, winners of eight straight games played in the state of Ohio, have closed four of the last six seasons with a victory.
