CMU at Toledo - Nov. 26, 2010
Nick Bellore tied a school record with his 52nd career start on Friday. He matched Andrew Hartline's record of 52 games started from 2005-08. Hartline started all 52 games of his career; Bellore had started 51 straight games before missing the Chippewas' Nov. 13 game at Navy.
Kito Poblah caught a pass for the 36th consecutive game dating back to the 2008 season.
Redshirt freshman Jordan McConnell made his first career reception in the second quarter.
Zurlon Tipton's 39-yard reception in the third quarter was the longest of his career.
Vince Agnew's blocked punt in the fourth quarter was CMU's first since Tim Brazzel blocked a punt at Buffalo in the 2006 regular season finale. Lorenzo White's recovery of the blocked punt in the end zone marked CMU's first score off a blocked punt since Ryan Strehl returned a blocked punt for a touchdown in the 2005 season finale at Ball State.
Zurlon Tipton scored four rushing touchdowns in the Chippewas' final two games, all on runs of 3 yards or less.
A.J. Westendorp matched a career high with two receptions and had a career-high 20 receiving yards.
Matt Berning finished with eight tackles to increase his season total to 102. It was his second straight 100-tackle season.
Nick Bellore finished with 10 tackles. His career total of 472 stops ranks third in school history behind Brian Leigeb (490) and Red Keith (474).
In 52 career games played, Nick Bellore recorded at least 10 tackles 24 times, including Friday's game at Toledo.
Friday's game marked the seventh time in 2010 that Ryan Radcliff threw for at least 295 yards in game. It was his third straight 300-yard effort to close the season.
Kito Poblah finishes his career with 154 receptions for 1,908 yards. He ranks eighth in school history in career receptions and ninth in receiving yards. Poblah also is tied for seventh in school history with 15 career touchdown catches.
Ryan Radcliff moved into ninth on CMU's career passing yardage list (3,473). He is 10th on CMU's career pass attempts list (487) and eighth on the career completions list (292).
Ryan Radcliff finish third on the school's single-season completions list (282), second on the pass attempts list (466), third on the passing yardage list (3,358) and fifth on the total offense yardage list (3,259).
Cody Wilson moved to fifth on the single-season receptions list (83) and third on the single-season receiving yardage list (1,137).
The loss snapped a five-game winning streak against Toledo.
The all-time series between CMU and Toledo is now even at 18-18-3.
