Central Michigan at Northwestern - September 25, 2010
Lorenzo White made his first career start in the secondary.
Eric Fisher's start at right tackle was the first of his career. He started two games at left tackle in 2009.
Senior linebacker Nick Bellore was in the starting lineup for the 45th consecutive game.
CMU's gameday captain was senior defensive tackle Sean Murnane.
Northwestern's touchdown on its second possession were the first points CMU has allowed in the first quarter this season.
Cody Wilson scored his first career rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Ryan Radcliff scrambled to his left before throwing backward to Wilson, who out-ran two Northwestern defenders for the touchdown. The play stood after an officials' review.
Nick Bellore's interception in the second quarter was his first of the season and fifth of his career.
Carl Volny's touchdown reception in the second quarter was his first of the season and second of his career. Volny set new career highs for receptions (six) and receiving yards (74).
The loss snapped CMU's two-game winning streak against Big Ten opponents. The Chippewas are now 4-20 all-time against the Big Ten.
