Central Michigan vs. Northern Illinois - October 1, 2011
CMU's 48 points were the most the Chippewas have scored this season, more than doubling a previous high of 21 in the season-opener against South Carolina St.
DT Matt Losiniecki, LB Cody Lopez, WR Deon Butler and TE Connor Odykirk each made their first career start.
Lopez recorded a career-high 14 tackles, second most on the team.
Ten true freshman appeared in the game for CMU, including two starters (NG Mat Losiniecki and LB Cody Lopez). Ten redshirt freshman made an appearance, including starting WR Deon Butler.
CMU's 17 points in both the first and fourth quarters are tied for the most the Chippewas have scored in any quarter this season.
QB Ryan Radcliff's 79-yard TD pass to WR Courtney Williams in the first quarter was the longest play from scrimmage for the Chippewas this season, and was the longest pass of Radcliff's career. The TD reception was Williams' first reception of his career.
Radcliff set a career high with four touchdown passes. His 387 were seven yards shy of a career high.
Radcliff moved into 8th place on the CMU career touchdown passes list with 25.
WR Cody Wilson extended his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 24.
RB Paris Cotton set career highs with 115 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
Cotton recorded a season-high 110 rushing yards on a season-high 16 rushes, his fourth career 100 yard game.
RB Ben Brown scored his first career touchdown in the first quarter.
RB Anthony Garland recorded career highs in rushing yards, 62, and rushes, 10.
SS Jahleel Addae recorded a career-high 18 tackles, his first forced fumble of the season, and his second and third career interceptions. He leads the Chippewas with three INT on the season.
Addae's 18 tackles are the most of any Chippewa this season.
Addae (18), Lopez (14), DB John Carr (10) and LB Mike Petrucci (10) each recorded double-digit tackles for Central Michigan.
DT Jason Chomic and Losiniecki each recorded their first career sacks.
The Chippewas' 563 total yards were the most since a 41-32 win at Kent State in Oct. 2007 when CMU posted 580 total yards.
The Chippewas' 48 points were the most since they scored 52 at Eastern Michigan last season and were the most in a home game since a 56-28 win against Toledo in Nov. 2009.
The Chippewas recorded 10 plays of more than 20 yards, five of which were scoring plays.
