Central Michigan at Ball State - October 22, 2011
Ryan Radcliff completed 30-of-44 passes for 436 yards and three touchdowns. His 436 yards rank as the third highest single game total in CMU history. It is the fifth 400-yard passing game in school history.
Ryan Radcliff accounted for 427 yards of total offense, the eighth highest single game total in school history.
Ryan Radcliff now ranks second in school history with eight career games of at least 300 passing yards.
In his last two games, Ryan Radcliff is 63-for-94 (67.0 percent) for 787 yards and six touchdowns. His only two interceptions have come on passes into the end zone on the final play of the game.
David Blackburn set career highs with nine receptions and 194 yards and matched a career high with two touchdown catches. Blackburn's 194 receiving yards ranks as the fourth highest single game total in school history.
Redshirt freshman Andy Phillips made his first career start at center. He is the 17th different Chippewa to make his first career start in 2011.
Andy Phillips' start at center marked the first change in the starting lineup along the offensive line for CMU in 2011. The Chippewas had started the same five players along the offensive front in each of the season's first seven games.
Cody Wilson extended to 27 his streak of consecutive games with a reception.
David Harman's 45-yard field goal on the Chippewas' opening possession was the longest of his career.
David Harman has made his last seven field goal attempts and is now 9-for-11 this season.
Jahleel Addae collected his fourth interception of the season early in the second quarter. Addae leads the Mid-American Conference in interceptions in 2011.
Zurlon Tipton posted his first career 100-yard rushing game. He finished with 110 yards on 18 carries. Tipton also caught five passes for 41 yards in his first action since Sept. 10.
True freshman linebacker Cody Lopez made 10 tackles, his second career game with double-digit tackles.
Shamari Benton was credited with a career-high 10 tackles.
In his last three games against Ball State, David Blackburn has caught 18 passes for 297 yards and five touchdowns.
CMU posted a season-high 569 yards of total offense. It is the highest single-game total since 2007.
