MAC Announces Field Hockey Seeds, Game Times

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan has earned the No. 3 seed in next week's Mid-American Conference Tournament and will play the No. 6 seed, Missouri State, Thursday in Athens, Ohio.
The Chippewas and Bears will play the tournament's second game Thursday, dropping the ball at 1:30 p.m. No. 4 seed Ball State and No. 5 Miami will play the first quarterfinal match Thursday at 11 a.m.
MAC regular season Champion Ohio earned the tournament's No. 1 seed, while Kent State won its final two games over the weekend to jump to the No. 2 seed. The Bobcats were the winner of Thursday's first quarterfinal match while Kent State will play CMU or MSU.
The Maroon and Gold swept the Bears in Mount Pleasant earlier this season and are seeking their first MAC Tournament title since 2005.

No. 4 Ball St vs. No. 5 Miami - 11 a.m.
No. 3 Central Michigan vs. No. 6 Missouri State - 1:30 p.m.

No. 1 Ohio vs. 4/5 Winner - 12 p.m.
No. 2 Kent State vs. 3/6 Winner - 2:30 p.m.
Championship (Saturday, Nov. 5)
No. 1 vs. 4/5 Winner vs. No. 2 vs 3/6 Winner - TBA
