For the second consecutive week, the Chippewas unveiled a new uniform combination, wearing gold pants along with their road white jerseys.
Cody Wilson has now caught a pass in 25 consecutive games.
The Chippewas scored on their first possession for the fourth time this season, and reached the end zone on the first drive for the second time (season opener).
Radcliff completed his first seven pass attempts; his eighth was batted down at the line of scrimmage on a third-and-one play. He also completed his last seven attempts of the first half; he was 15-of-17 for 196 yards and two touchdowns before halftime.
Radcliff completed passes to eight different receivers in the first half.
After recording just one sack in the first half, the NC State defense was able to put a lot more pressure on Radcliff after halftime. He was hurried twice and sacked once in the first two possessions of the third quarter.
Connor Odykirk entered Saturday's game with three receptions for 11 yards. On the Chippewas' opening drive at N.C. State, he caught two passes for 30 yards.
Courtney Williams scored on a 23-yard reception in the first quarter. Williams' first two career receptions went for touchdowns; he caught a 79-yard touchdown pass against Northern Illinois last week.
Cody Wilson finished with four receptions to move into sole possession of ninth on the Chippewas' career receptions list. He now has 134 career catches.
Ryan Radcliff moved into sixth on CMU's career passing yardage list (4,870 yards), a tie for seventh on the career touchdown passes list (27) and seventh on the career total offense list (4,795 yards).
CMU committed five penalties for 52 yards. The Chippewas entered the game averaging just four penalties per game, tied for seventh nationally.
Redshirt freshman Justin Cherocci led the CMU defense with a career-high 11 tackles.
Paris Cotton's 77-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was the longest run of his career. It was the Chippewas' longest run from scrimmage in 2011 and second-longest offensive play this season.
Paris Cotton finished with 158 yards on 13 carries, his second straight and fifth career 100-yard rushing game.
Paris Cotton's 77-yard touchdown run was CMU's fourth touchdown of longer than 60 yards in 2011.
