CMU Homecoming Set for October 15

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University announced today several of the special event dates for the 2011 football season .
CMU will recognize its 2011 hall of fame class Saturday, Oct. 1 when the Chippewas host Northern Illinois at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. The Oct. 1 game also will be CMU & You Day and Band Day in addition to the hall of fame festivities.
The Chippewas' homecoming game will be Saturday, Oct. 15 when CMU hosts in-state rival Eastern Michigan. CMU also will continue its participation in the NCAA's Take a Kid to the Game Day initiative on Oct. 15.
Season ticket sales for the 2011 campaign begin Friday, April 1. Tickets can be purchased online at CMUChippewas.com, over the phone at 1-888-FIRE-UP2 or in person at Ticket Central in the CMU Events Center atrium. Chippewa Club members must call or visit the ticket office in person to secure their seats.
Renewal information for 2010 season ticket holders will be sent April 1 as well.
