Former Chippewas Sign NFL Free Agent Contracts

MOUNT PLEASANT - Seven members of Central Michigan's 2010 football team will depart for National Football League training camps this week as undrafted free agents.
The signings began early Tuesday when the free agency window opened, with some NFL camps beginning as early as Wednesday.
The following former Chippewas had agreed to terms with NFL clubs:
Vince Agnew - Miami Dolphins
Nick Bellore - New York Jets
Matt Berning - New York Jets
Brett Hartmann - Houston Texans
Jeff Maddux - Detroit Lions
Colin Miller - Pittsburgh Steelers
Sean Murnane - Chicago Bears
The group of undrafted free agents joins seven other former Chippewas currently active in the National Football League, including three members of the Green Bay Packers' squad that won Super Bowl XLV in February: Josh Gordy, Cullen Jenkins and Frank Zombo. CMU's four total players in the Super Bowl (Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers) were tied for the most of any college program in the country.
