Final Open Scrimmage to be Held Saturday

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Head coach Keno Davis will hold the second of two intrasquad scrimmages for fans prior to Saturday afternoon's football game.

The scrimmage, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m., one hour prior to kickoff against Akron.

Approximately 150 fans came to last Saturday's scrimmage. This weekend will be the final opportunity to Davis' first-year squad prior to the season-opening exhibition game November 7.

"Our focus this season has been on improvement and work ethic," said Davis. "We look forward to the opportunity Saturday to showcase our progress."
