Chippewas Set for 2012 Spring Football Game

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan's spring football game is less than 48 hours away.

The Chippewas held their final preparations on Thursday at the Indoor Athletic Complex, practicing for the first time as the "Maroon" and "Gold" squads that were drafted on Wednesday.

Following practice, the CMU Sports Zone's Justin Hoff talked with Maroon head coach Mose Rison and Gold head coach Butch Barry, both CMU alums who will be pitting their squads against one another on Saturday. [Watch: Spring Football Insider]

Kickoff of the spring game is set for 2 p.m. Prior to the game, the Chippewas will sign autographs at the Indoor Athletic Complex beginning at 10:30 a.m. and will host a free youth skills clinic beginning at 11:30 a.m.
