Coldren, Dornbos and DeLamielleure Earn MAC Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan senior Molly Coldren and junior Kara Dornbos earned second-team All-Mid-American Conference honors, while freshman Chelsea DeLamielleure made the All-MAC Freshman Team.
This is the second consecutive year that Coldren and Dornbos have earned All-MAC honors.
Coldren, who earned first-team honors last year, set the program RBI record this season. Currently she has 135 career RBI, surpassing the record set by Eli Barnes of 125 career RBI record. She also tied CMU's single-season home run record this season at 14, which she set last year. She finished fourth in conference home runs (7), seventh in slugging percentage (.683) and eighth in RBI (18).
Dornbos, for the second straight season, was named second-team All-MAC. She finished fourth in conference ERA at 2.21. She had two shutouts, placing her fourth in the conference, while her seven complete games were the seventh most in MAC games.
DeLamielleure finished the MAC season with a .308 batting average. She recorded two doubles, one triple and one home run while knocking in seven RBI. In the 15 conference games which she appeared, she had 23 putouts and 31 assists.
CMU is currently 26-25, including an 11-10 mark in MAC play. The Maroon and Gold face off with Kent State tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the first round of the MAC Tournament.
