White Takes Game 5, 7-3

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Daniel Jipping and Jason Sullivan had three hits apiece Friday as the White took a 7-3 victory from the Maroon in Game 5 of the Central Michigan baseball team's Fall World Series Classic at Theunissen Stadium.
The White leads the series, 4-0-1. Game 6 is Sunday at 1 p.m. and the seventh and final game is Tuesday at 2:45 p.m.
Alex Borglin doubled and singled for the White, while Dazon Cole and Zack Fields added two hits apiece, and Joe Houlihan singled.
Michael Brettell and Cal Djuraskovic handled the pitching duties for the White.
Jarrod Watkins had two hits and Robert Greenman doubled for the Maroon.
Grant Wolfram and Brady Williams pitched for Maroon, which got singles from Blake Cleveland, Daniel Robinson, Ryan Heeke and David Cole.
